Dr. Youssef Mahmoud earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry, where he graduated with honors as a member of the Tau Kappa Omega Dental Honor Society. During his training, he was nominated for the OKU Clinical Excellence Award and was a finalist for the Henry A. Sutro Oral Rehabilitation Award – two recognitions that reflect his commitment to clinical excellence and patient-centered care.
Born in Alexandria, Egypt and raised in Sacramento, California, Dr. Mahmoud now calls Chicago, Illinois home. Though he’s new to the city, he’s quickly grown fond of its vibrant food scene and community spirit.
Dr. Mahmoud is passionate about staying at the forefront of dental innovation. He is actively involved in continuing education courses focused on treatment planning, operative dentistry, and oral surgery. He believes that dentistry is always evolving, and by continuing to learn, he ensures that every patient receives the most up-to-date and thoughtful care possible.

In addition to private practice, Dr. Mahmoud also serves as a dentist in the United States Navy, where he continues to refine his clinical skills and serve those who serve the country.
Outside of the office, you can find him working out, traveling, trying new restaurants, and spending time with friends and family.
