Marwah Gorgis was born and raised in Baghdad/Iraq. She graduated from the college of health and medical technology in Baghdad/Iraq and awarded the degree of bachelor of Prosthodontic Techniques in 2008.
Marwah moved to Chicago in 2010 and had worked in the dental field for seven years. Following her passion for the dental hygiene profession, she attended Fox College in Bedford Park, IL, and graduated with high honors of applied science degree in dental hygiene.
Marwah is a recipient of several awards, the academic excellence award, the student total achievement recognition award, and the Colgate STAR award. She is a member of the American dental hygiene association.

In her spare time, Marwa enjoys spending time with her family and traveling.
