Alexis Vazquez graduated from the College of DuPage with an Associate in Applied Science degree in Dental Hygiene. During her time at the college, she excelled in both her academic and clinical courses, gaining hands-on experience in patient care, dental radiography, and periodontal therapy. Alexis also participated in various dental hygiene community outreach programs, which helped her develop a strong foundation in preventive dental care.
She is committed to providing the best care for her patients and stays informed about the latest research and techniques through continuing education courses. Alexis’s goal is to ensure her patients stay healthy by offering quality care and educating them on maintaining good oral health.
As a dental hygienist, Alexis enjoys the opportunity to interact with patients on a one-to-one basis. She finds it fascinating to learn about their personal lives while providing them with the best possible care, as every patient is unique.
A native Chicagoan, Alexis enjoys exploring different restaurants and trying new foods in her free time. Together with her daughter and dog, she plans to travel to various countries in the future. Alexis also enjoys playing tennis, volleyball, and going on bike rides.
“Being a dental hygienist allows me to make a positive impact on others. It gives me a sense of purpose and pleasure, as I continue to learn and challenge myself in this field.”
