Rachel Stryjak graduated from Kennedy King’s dental hygiene program in 2005 where she attended all classes at UIS’s College of Dentistry. While in school, Rachel was awarded by UIC’s clinical dental faculty for her contribution to community dental health. Her experience in the dental field began as a dental assistant when she was a teenager, and she was an office manager of two different dental practices before graduating college.
Rachel is a member of the Illinois Dental Hygienist Association and The Chicago Dental Hygienist Association. In fact, she was featured in the January 2014 issue of The ADHA’s Access magazine for treating patients with special needs. Rachel enjoys staying current on the latest advances in dentistry and educating her patients on their overall health.
The mouth is the gateway to your health and Rachel pours her heart and soul into her work. Needless to say, she loves dentistry!
When she is not working, Rachel enjoys running, she has run the Chicago marathon three times, spending time with her daughter, and volunteering at her church. She is a breast cancer survivor and is active in a private breast cancer support group through Advocate Heath care where she regularly participates in organized walks and runs that raise awareness and funds for breast cancer research.
