Dr. Patrick Carroll
Dr. Patrick Carroll is an Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeon from Chicago, IL. He was born on the south side and grew up in Valparaiso, IN. Dr. Carroll completed his undergraduate studies in biology at Indiana University, Bloomington in 2003 with honors. A dedicated student, he applied early and was awarded admission to dental school after only 3 years of undergraduate studies. While at Indiana University School of Dentistry, he excelled among his peers and developed an interest for surgery. He graduated with distinction in the top 10% of his class in 2007.
Following dental school, he began a rigorous residency in Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery at the distinguished Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. Dr. Carroll was an integral part of the facial trauma and reconstruction team.
In addition to various rotations in general surgery, anesthesia, and internal medicine, he was exposed to congenital deformities such as cleft lip/palate, head & neck pathology, facial cosmetics, TMJ disorders, and all aspects of dentoalveolar surgery including dental implants.
Upon completion of his hospital residency training in 2011, he moved back to Chicago to enter private practice. Dr. Carroll enjoys practicing in Chicago and impacting his patients’ lives in a positive way. In his free time, he enjoys traveling the world, outdoor activities, and following his favorite Chicago sports teams
