Dr. Mohamed Ali Boukheir
One of Dr. Mohamed Ali Boukheir’s lifelong goals was to be able to provide optimal health care for communities of all different ages and cultures. He is one of six children, all born in the Ivory Coast of West Africa. As a young boy, his family migrated to New Jersey, where he achieved his DMD dental degree from Rutgers University School of Dental Medicine. Among Dr. Boukheir’s stellar accolades and multiple high honors, he ranked top of his class and was the sole recipient of the AAOMS Dental Student Award. Dr. Boukheir completed an Oral Maxillofacial Surgery internship at Rutgers University, before moving to Chicago to continue his OMFS residency at John H. Stroger Hospital of Cook County.
Throughout Dr. Boukheir’s dental education and trainings, Dr. Boukheir never lost sight of his lifelong goals of being able to provide excellent dentistry to all communities. With continuous encouragement and loving support from his large family, Dr. Boukheir remains steadfast in staying abreast with the latest surgical techniques and furthering his dental/medical trainings in oral maxillofacial surgeries.
Dr. Boukheir is also fluent in Spanish, French, and Arabic. He is a stern believer in honest hard work and helping those with limited access to healthcare resources. He enjoys traveling and casual outings with his large family.
Dr. Boukheir regards each of his colleagues and patients sincerely, with utmost respect and compassion, treating them as if they were one of his own cherished family members. To Dr. Boukheir, there is no greater reward than to help allay patients’ discomfort, bringing a smile to their faces, and to make patients feel appreciated!
