Dr. Lyndon Andrews
Dr. Lyndon Andrews graduated from the Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in Ohio and Baylor University in Texas.
Dr. Andrews believes that continuing education helps him become a well-rounded practitioner.
“Doing General Practice Residency at OSF Medical Center helped me own my skills learned in dental school, to further perfect my craft. It keeps me updated with the changes in protocol and technology in dentistry. “
Dr. Andrews volunteered with boys’ and girls’ clubs throughout his dental school years. He’s been on two dental mission trips in which he provided much needed oral health care to the people of Tochi, Mexico and Clarendon of Jamaica. Upon graduation, he was awarded the humanitarian award for exemplifying and demonstrating passion for altruistic humanitarian service as a dental student.
Dr. Andrews is originally from the Valley, Virgin Gorda in the British Virgin Islands. He just recently moved to the Chicago land area after living in central Illinois for 4 years. When he is not working, he loves traveling, hiking, camping, sailing, skiing, and working out. He enjoys using his hands to do puzzles and likes to build and assemble things.
“Born and raised in the tropical haven of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), the experience of growing up on Virgin Gorda was far from that of the average eight-year-old in America. I had labially flared central incisors from an early traumatic accident, which caused me a childhood of fights, ridicule, and tears. The nearest orthodontist was a two-hour boat ride away. Even so, I was fortunate to have received treatment to correct my dental issue before I entered high school. Through hard work and a dream, I am blessed to be a licensed dentist helping those with similar problems like myself. I take my profession seriously and I use it as a platform to advocate for change.”
